Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the acceptable and prohibited uses of the NextBookin platform ("the Service"). It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users of the platform. Violation of this policy may result in account suspension or termination.

2. Permitted Use

The Service is intended for legitimate business booking and scheduling purposes. Users may:

  • Manage bookings and appointments
  • Communicate with customers
  • Process payments through the platform
  • Customise their booking pages
  • Use the chatbot and form builders

3. Prohibited Content

Users must not upload, publish, or transmit any of the following:

  • Content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene
  • Content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Content containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Misleading or fraudulent content
  • Content that violates any person's privacy rights
  • Sexually explicit material (unless the business operates lawfully in an adult industry)
  • Content promoting discrimination based on protected characteristics

4. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Use the Service for spam or unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
  • Interfere with the Service's infrastructure or performance
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data without authorisation
  • Circumvent security features, rate limits, or access controls
  • Use the Service for money laundering, fraud, or other financial crimes
  • Resell access to the Service without authorisation
  • Create fake bookings or reviews
  • Use automated tools to create accounts or bookings at scale

5. Fair Usage

Free and paid plans have reasonable usage limits. Excessive usage that impacts other users may result in throttling or account review. We reserve the right to enforce fair usage limits at our discretion.

6. Reporting Violations

Users can report violations of this policy by emailing abuse@nextbookin.com. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

7. Enforcement

We may take action against accounts that violate this policy, including:

  • Issuing warnings
  • Temporarily suspending access
  • Permanently terminating accounts
  • Removing content
  • Reporting to law enforcement

We aim to provide notice before taking enforcement action, except in urgent cases where immediate action is necessary to protect the Service or its users.

8. Appeals

Users may appeal enforcement decisions by emailing support@nextbookin.com within 14 days of the action. Appeals are reviewed by a different team member from the one who made the original decision.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
